One Health Events

We are excited about our upcoming events and raising awareness about the interconnection among human, animal, and environmental health. Collaboration among these areas, raising awareness about zoonotic diseases that affect Louisianians (or soon could), and education about One Health issues are our goals. Our events will provide opportunities to help us meet these goals!  Make sure you check out our plans for the International One Health Day on November 3rd, so you can join in too!

According to the CDC,  "One Health Day is an international campaign co-coordinated by the One Health Commission , the One Health Initiative Autonomous pro bono Team and the One Health Platform Foundation.

The goal of One Health Day is to bring attention around the world to the need for One Health interactions and for the world to ‘see them in action’. The One Health Day campaign is designed to engage as many individuals as possible from as many arenas as possible in One Health education and awareness events, and to generate an inspiring array of projects worldwide. "

If you have a One Health event taking place in Louisiana to celebrate One Health Day, we'd love to highlight your event on our site!
